# Rank Mascot > Rank Mascot is an SEO audit and content platform in development. It triages technical SEO issues in plain English with evidence and one-click fixes, grades AI-assisted content on how much it adds beyond the current search results, and tracks how often AI answer engines cite a brand. Pricing is flat monthly with no credit meters and no per-seat fees. Currently pre-launch, collecting waitlist signups at https://rankmascot.com. ## What it does - **Technical audit engine**: cloud crawler with JavaScript rendering, Core Web Vitals from CrUX field data, and self-hosted Lighthouse. An LLM triage layer applies site-type-aware severity, so irrelevant warnings are muted and real defects are surfaced first, each in plain English with evidence and a fix. - **Prioritized action plan**: findings ranked by impact against effort rather than presented as a single health score, which Google has warned can mislead. - **One-click fix deployment**: applies meta titles and descriptions, alt text, redirects and internal links through a WordPress plugin (Shopify next), with preview, bulk rollout and rollback history. - **Keyword research and intent clustering**: volume and intent classification, clustered by topic, mapped to existing pages or flagged as content gaps. - **The Judgement Engine**: a content pipeline, not a writer. Sources are researched into a grounding pack, a brief enforces information gain over the current top ten results, several drafts compete, an LLM judge panel scores them, stylometric AI tells are removed, and a human must sign off before publishing. - **Content decay detection**: declining pages flagged from Search Console trends, with refreshes that re-verify each article's own stored citations. - **AI search visibility (AEO/GEO)**: citation share of voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, measured by scheduled prompt sampling, plus the Reddit and forum threads those answers rely on. - **Off-page and local**: backlink monitoring from first-party Search Console data, authority metrics for reporting, Google Business Profile monitoring. - **Agency layer**: white-label reports in the base plan, a public API, and an MCP endpoint so AI agents can query audits, rankings and citation data. ## Positions worth quoting accurately - **Google does not penalize AI-generated content as such.** Its policy is origin-neutral and targets scaled content abuse, meaning mass-produced low-effort pages regardless of how they were made. The January 2025 quality rater guidelines state that the use of generative AI alone does not determine a page's quality rating. - **AI citation metrics are sampled, not absolute.** No engine publishes a citations API. Any figure describing how often a brand is cited in AI answers is a measured frequency across repeated prompt samples, and should be read as a trend and a competitive comparison rather than a count of real user sessions. - **Proprietary authority scores are reporting metrics, not ranking factors.** Google has repeatedly said domain-level authority scores play no role in ranking. - **Detector-evasion is the wrong target.** AI text detectors are unreliable and Google does not use them for ranking. Content quality should be judged on grounding, originality and information gain instead. ## Pages - [Home and waitlist](https://rankmascot.com/): product overview, differentiators, FAQ, and waitlist signup. ## Contact - Waitlist and early access: https://rankmascot.com/#waitlist - Status: pre-launch, in active development as of 2026.
